Dinner with the girls

So as you guys know (if you follow my blog), I went out with some of my girlfriends to eat dinner at a Tyrkish restaurant. The food was lovely and we all had a great time whilst stuffing our bellies with chicken, french fries and tzatziki.
I absolutely adore the place because it's close to where I live and the food is really affordable as well (:

Pictures below are from the night with the yummy food as well as the girls!

Look at the plate I ordered!
Mouthwatering, right?

Here's my friend Marie (who's obsessed with food)
Gotta love her ! :D

Here's Marie & Sofie (:

And lastly Julie,

My lazy Saturday evening

As the headline indicates, my Saturday was pretty boring. I had nothing to do untill 18:30 where I had to meet with some girls to go eat dinner (where I came embarrassingly late as well )-: not good! )
As I was killing time since 12 am I decided to do a smokey eye look. A very simple eye look.
I actually only did one eye. I was
that bored that I didnt even bother to do my other.

Here's the outcome:

What I used & did;

- Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place eyeshadow base - all over the lid to help the eyeshadow adhere.
-
Barry M Dazzle Dust in nr. 45, which is a vibrant rusty bronze/reddish colored pigment - I applied some of it with a dense eyeshadow brush to pack the color. I applied this all the way up to my crease and blended upwards.
-
Estée Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in 25 Onyx which is a MAC carbon dupe - I applied this to the crease and blended it as you would do with any smokey eye look.
-
MAC Expensive Pink eyeshadow (Veluxe Pearl) - Used this in my inner corner of my eye and to soften the black color in the crease a bit (is most prominent in the first picture)

Thats it! Easy peasy! (:

Im on a budget but still spending like I had a bag of cash ..

Today, after (what feels like) a long day at school i got a call from one of my besties Amina. She wantet to meet in the city to grab a bite to eat. I say yes. We met at a big shopping mall called Fields, which is located in Amager. Well, you wouldnt know if you didnt actually live in Denmark (: nevermind ..

With my budget quite tight I only managed to buy a plate of food at a café & a magazine. The magazine I bought is a magazine called 'Bazar'. (Picture of magazine shown below) Now the only reason why I got this was that the magazine came with the prettiest pastel pink nailpolish. Yes, I actually fell for the marketing-gimmick that most women do .. I just couldnt help myself (my friend rolled her eyes on me as well .. 'you and your nailpolishes', she said. Yes, me and my silly nailpolishes. (:
(picture with me, wearing the nailpolish shown below)

The magazine was not expensive at all (another reason why I just had to have it). The price was 35dkk, which is about 7$ and around £4. Next we went to MAC. God, I love MAC. The makeupartist came up to me and asked me if I wanted help, I said no, but she then asked me if she could try a gloss on my lips. Why not, I thought. My oh my! that was the best thing eveeer! The gloss she applied on my lips was from a former collection. I think it was from the Style Warrior collection. Well, I remember the packaging being very animal-print-ish (is that even a word?) nevermind .. the gloss' name was Liberated. And Liberated; I heart you big time! The most vibrant, pretty, yet sexy color on my lips that looked like a perfect match. Doesnt it sound like I bought it? Well, I didnt. Why? Cause Im broke .. Someone gimme some caaash!

Enough for now.
Im off to crash in front of the TV with some Ben & Jerry's cookie dough is my hands!

Tomorrow Im meeting some girlfriends to eat dinner at a Tyrkish restaurant. Cant wait! <3

Nailpolish collection

First of all I must say im a nailpolish fanatic. I collect them like crazy
which resembles my 'small' collection. Now keep in mind that this
is years of investment. Some are bought in Denmark, some given as
a gift and some from far away countries. Now let's get startet!

This is where i store my nailpolishes. A whitespacious rectangular box with silver and black glittery stipes.
The box was bought in a popular danish lifestyle-shop called 'Bahne'.

Next to the left picture is an overview of my collection. It could
fit some more nailpolishes. Don't you think?

So i decided to devide my collection into small groups
so it'll be easier to run down which specific polish Im talking about.
Here's a little Mevala nailcare kit. I got this the summer of this
year ('09) and have been using it ever since. From the left we have
a 'color fix' which is supposed to help the color of the nailpolish to 'pop' more.
The next 3 are products ranging from stuff for the cuticles etc.
Lastly, the bottle with the red cap is called 'scientifique'.
This is supposed to help your nails grow and become stronger over a period of time.
I've been using this as my hg ever since i got it!

Here are 3 polishes from a brand named 'Depend'.
Now Im not sure if you can buy these polishes in
other countries than Denmark.
The first one from the left is a whitish colour that I
actually bought to use for my tips when i do my french
manicure, but for that purpose its crap. Next to it we have
a baby pink polish that i absolutely adore. Its in the
color nr 111. If you apply 2 coats you get a beautiful pink
color that suits grey clothing perfectly.
The brown color I dont know why on earth i have.
rarely use it, but its a fun color that suits many people
although they may not think that. The name of the polish
is nr 112. Btw, the first white polish is in nr 32. the 2 polishes
are just some random ones that I dont know much about.
Well, not enough to talk about ..

Now here we have some of my fave's. The brown/bronze Chanel
one was a color what i absolutely fell in love with when i first
saw it. Its the most gorgeous color that i could wear at a pakistani
wedding. It's called '317 - Golden Sand'.
Next to it is another Chanel nailpolish in the color '209 - Marilyn'.
My father got this for me at a trip to the United States. I told him
to get me a pretty pink color and this was what he got me .. well, its fine (:
Another Chanel in the color '167 - Ballerina'. This was my very first
Chanel purchase. Its a pretty light pink color, perfect for a
french manicure.
The 2 polishes next to my little chanel family are two from Clarins.
the one to the left is in nr 230 and the one far right is in nr 228.
I wish you could se the glittery specs in the nailpolish.
They look amaazing!! and even more amazing on top of nr 228.
This color is your perfect red. Such a deep, pretty colour.

These 6 are just some random one's. Im quicky going to run
through them as they arent so .. special, (sorry nailpolishes!)
A light beige from Gosh - 2 from a brand called Naloid Results.
I've never ever even opened these. Poor polishes ..
A random weird white one - a tip varnish from Herome.
Lastly my fave from Estée Lauder, a top coat that dries in no time!

From the left we have a Nivea polish that i got a looong time ago!
Way too long ago that i can actually remember. it's in color
99 'Pastel Lilac'. Very pretty, but a bit streaky i application.
Next to it a color from Maxfactor. Now the story behind this is that
i went to buy this lovely deep plummy reddish color after reading
'bubblegarms' small rewiev on this. I fell in love with it and had to
have it! So pretty .. the name of the varnish is 900 Ruby Fruit.
Next to it a very random one, don't know where it came from ..
The bright orange corally color is from Versace. Although the
formulation is quite runny it delivers the prettiest opaque
color just enough to brighten a dull outfit.
Lastly we have a futuristic silver nailpolish from Zara in the
color 782 silver. I got this when i went to Prague with my school
in 2008 (i think) .. I dont use this that often but my oh my, it
delivers the perfect non-streaky finish in just one coat!

So that was my first blog post ever! Go me! (:
I hope that someone out there enjoyed reading my ramble.
