Shoemania!!

It's a week ago since I came back home from my wonderful study-trip with my class. It was truly a memorable 10 days.. Miss it already :-( Of course I did a lot of shopping but unfortunately the most of it is in the washer so there wont be any pictures to post. Besides that, I yesterday went out shopping and found the most fierce shoes ever! they look so good on! I wore them today with a pair of black skinny jeans and I can surely tell that my shoes were some head-turners! Picture above: (they are the ones with golden/bronze studding on the back and heel area and with shoelaces). The other shoes shown in the picture are just some simple black pumps. I found them in Paris and just thought: I have to have them! (although they hurt a bit when I walk too long.. but wth :)
A burst of color on the collage are my new earrings (or just one of them). I bought them from Primark for only £2!! Bargain! And lastly the box.. In that it consists of my new love: Lancôme hypnose drama mascara! this is tube number 3 that I've gone through and that just shows how much I appreciate it! I then just had to have it cause the mascara came with their award winning eye makeup remover 'Bi-facil' and a terrible terrible concealer in the lightest shade ever! As I was applying it, I thought to myself: "Who is THAT light?!" Jeez.. Anyways, hope you all are having a nice day!

It doesn't get any better than this ..

As the headline indicates everything going on in my life right now, couldn't get any better than it is! :-) In less than a week i'll be heading off to Paris with half of my class (we are divided in two, because approximately 50% of the class has german as their foreign language, and the other half has french.. so by knowing that i'm going to France, it ain't that hard to figure out which language is my foreign language :) I'm being struck by an immense dose of adrenaline every time i think of my trip, and it makes me giggle a little inside (yes, i'm weird).. I just cannot wait to explore the capitals (im going to London as well!), to eat new sorts of dishes, and finally - to SHOP! :-D !!

Okay, on to something completely different; Today, i received my package from asos.com, that i ordered a week ago. I ordered the following items (click on the sites below to see)

1. A black patent shopper with golden studs - Perfect for stashing random stuff into and through on your shoulder and head out of the door! Im gonna use this for school on 'non-heavy-book-days'.

2. A grey cardigan with 3/4 length arms, embellished with silver sequins all over. This was sooo pretty that i HAD to have it :-) it would look really good when dressed 'all-black' as it would stand out and shine like a disco-ball!

3. A black soft, jersey 'waterfall' cardigan with bronze studds. I've wanted a drape-ish cardigan for a long long time, and when i saw this on asos i had to grab it! so here it is, and i'm very pleased :-)

I cant wait for ..

.. the summer to come! seriously, its been too long since i've actually seen a bit of sunshine here.. so depressing. But in about 2½ weeks i'll be heading of to Paris and London with my class - which brings me to craving nr 2:

.. Paris & London from the 14th - 24th of march. Ever since i found out i was going to these lovely capitals i havent been able not to keep track of how many days there are left for this fabulous vacation (although i have to attend school every single day from 9-13)

.. SHOPPING! yes indeed! i've been saving every penny to save some money to this trip as i'll be shopping till' i'll be droppin' .. ok, a bit diva-ish but who cares ! :-D
I've already made a list of the shops im gonna be visiting and at the top of the list i have Sephora - my beloved beauty-store, here i come!

.. My mother to come home fron Pakistan! I really miss her :-( but luckily theres only 2 weeks until she's home again ! I cant wait <3

Today was a cold day. Today was a windy day. Today was a freezing day. Today .. was a good day.
Oh yes it was. Beside the fact that i was mortified by the weather, i did some shopping with my high school-friend, Mie. I bought some trousers from Monki and a thrift DKNY blazer (it's absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!), but more about that after a little anecdote of the day. Mie and I, went to strøget (pronounced 'stoijet' .. okay, bad example, but anyways..) to film and interview a bunch of people for a school project, and ask them the question: "What is the good life for you?". A pretty tricky question actually, as the majority of the people we asked were twisting their minds in order to come up with a wise answer. Talking about being wise and all that, im now officially 'growm up', as i turned 18 this sunday! (the 14th). It's kinda frightening, yet exciting to finally turn 18 - hopefully more exciting than frightening! Now to the good stuff - the shopping!

As mentioned, i bought a pair of trousers from a shop called 'Monki'. A pretty popular store actually - at least if you live in Denmark. The pair are a light beigey-color with different hems. They were only 50dkk, so i thought 'what the heck'. The Donna Karan blazer that i bought im most fond of. Its sooo pretty and will go with everything i own .. just perfect! Maybe i'll post a picture somewhere in the future, cause now im gonna take a shower and get ready, as tonight im going to the cinema to watch 'Precious' with my friend Julie and Mie (:

Surprise surprise

After a hectic weekend running back and forth from Brønshøj to Brøndby to a friends house, and from Brøndby back to Brønshøj - I must say that I'm rather exhausted. Not exhausted from seeing my friend, but just from all the things a have to cope with this week: A huge paper due till tuesday 22/12, but since I'm off to Pakistan this satuday, I have to finish the assignment by thursday night and hand it in friday morning, i.e the day before I lift off .. Yikes!
Next, I need to figure out what to bring with me. Pack. Plan the future assignments due till next year (an even bigger yikes!) Then, lastly I have to relax, ok - not so hard after all, but with all these things I need to do, hanging like a big cloud above my head, I better get started before I freak out .. Gotta move and get things done ! Now, now, now!

Anyways! Imma put the future aside for a while and share with you, what my mother got me this saturday - A complete surprise! (pictures will follow along later)

She bought me the most beautiful stud earrings I've ever seen in my entire life (well, at least the prettiest I've seen so far) They look absolutely amazing! and they will go even better with my dark hair .. Ooh what blissful things, things can do to you :)

Good company is all you need

The weekend has been good, really good actually. The grey weather which had been drowning me, didn't come in between me having a great weekend - cause it's been the best in a long long time ..
With the company of my friend Anbreen, I went to see 'Paranormal Activity' in the cinema, and it was ok. Not anything to fuss about, just very plain. The parts in the movie which were supposed to be scary were actually hilarious. Nobody in the cinema looked nor sounded scared when anything scary appeared in the movie - and that was the funniest part of it all .. cause nobody really looked like they took the movie seriously. But overall, it would get 2 out of five stars from me (not that i'm a movie-reviewer or anything, but yeah :)

Late Eid Mubarak to anyone out there who celebrated this lovely day! :)
Mine was good, but what wasn't so great about the day, was the fact that the weather was absolute crap.
Rainy and windy all day long. Despite that, the bright clothes people wore (you know us Muslims and Pakistani's, we like them bright colors :) and the smile on peoples faces made all they grey tones of the day fade away ..

I'm off to watch an Indian film called 'Devdas'

Useless, happy and crappy

Feeling kinda crap and useless. But still a lil' bit happy. Very little.

The weather is depressing me and I'm finding it hard to stay positive.
If that sounds sad enough itself, well then keep on reading ..

Came home from school soaking wet after a long bike-ride through an insanely stormy and rainy weather after watching the amazing film 'Slumdog Millionaire' at school. While getting on my bike, I kinda panicked when I realized that I had left my hat at home - the hat that was gonna protect me and my hair by getting all wet and disgusting had let me down and stayed at home. Lucky bastard

Slumdog Millionaire made me laugh, think, realize and maybe cry a teeny tiny bit.

I'm already on the run scraping some money together to buy the movie (: It's that kind of a movie I would watch over and over again .. Incredible is the word for the movie. Simply incredible.

Trying to stay a bit positive - because in a months time, I will be flying off to Pakistan. I cannot wait. I can't wait to get away from everyday life (not that it's bad), but just to relax. Relax for a whole month. That is what I really want. That is what I really need.

Le weekend

Its the weekend and its freakin' lovely.
I dont have anything to do what so ever .. Well, except for the massive amount of homework I have to do until monday and tuesday. Bummer!!

Today, at school I got off early mainly because one module got cancelled and the other one was just extremely short, due to the fact that my class just got a new teacher in geography. Yes, geography sounds boring, but Im sure this (young) new teacher is gonna spice those lessons up a bit ! :-D

Made the yummiest muffins today with a crisp sugary-coconut topping that I was looking forward to eating today, as well as tomorrow, but by the time my parents got home, they were pretty much all munched down and gone within an hour :(

Im gonna bounce off and snuggle up in my bed and watch The Notebook .. Such a fantastic movie!! If you haven't seen it, I order you to get your ass up and watch that movie. Immediately!!
